Creative Cities and States - what breeds creativity

    By Steve Hopkins | September 11, 2007

    Creativity?

Those of you following me on Twitter would know that for the past week or so I have been thinking and doing ‘creative stuffs’. In an effort to take down the magic curtain of cryptic messages, I’m taking part in the Creative Victoria Challenge at the moment, which is giving me a mind-full of comparisons, guesses and half-hunches as to the critical ingredients for breeding creativity. So, here I go - I throw myself at the mercy of the wisdom of crowds…what, in your mind leads to a more creative city, and what (if any) thoughts to do have about a more creative Victoria (yes, Vic…NOT Melbourne…must be funded by all Victoria tax payers…not just the urban elite ;)

I’d really appreciate your thoughts on this one! I’ll post my further thoughts on the issue as they come to rise, including your thoughts.
