One of the most fantastic pieces of news came through this morning. Amit Gupta, of Photojojo and Jelly fame, has found a donor for the bone marrow transplant he needed to help him in his fight against Leukemia.
I was really shaken when I read the news about Amit having Leukemia. I was on level 2 of our Yammer offices in my first or second week starting and remember not quite knowing what to do with myself.
He’s one of the greatest people we have on this planet and it would have been a shame to lose him so young. In his own words, he has a long road ahead but it’s a great thing to celebrate today and to remind us all to appreciate the life that we have.
